Horse Activities

Bring your friends and family out on a horseback ride led by an experienced guide along our gorgeous trails. This is a walking ride only, perfect for those with little or no riding experience who are looking for a safe and relaxing time! No prior riding experience needed. We provide a short intro riding lesson at the beginning of the ride.

-Rides offered daily at 9:30 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm.

This ride is a level up from the Beginner Trail Ride and consists of walking, trotting, and cantering along our more challenging trails on the farm! MUST have prior riding experience (the guide will adjust the pace according to your experience).

Looking for something horsey to do for your littles? A pony ride is perfect! Come out and meet the horses, Lucus the goat, the friendly barn cats, and enjoy a lead line ride for your young kids.

-15 minute lead line ride

-Maximum 2 riders at a time

-Age minimum 3 years old

-Please arrive 15 minutes early to your scheduled time

-We provide helmets

Private Adult Lessons

For those with little or no riding experience, we will start by teaching basic horsemanship and progress to riding. For those with riding experience, we will focus on areas in which you wish to progress and enhance your skills.

-One hour Western/English lesson with our riding instructor

-The teaching session lasts one hour so please arrive 15 minutes early for your lesson

Private Kids Lessons

-$45/lesson

-Half hour Western/English lesson with our riding instructor

-Ages 5-12

-The teaching session lasts a half hour so please arrive 15 minutes early for your lesson

Group Lessons

-2-3 riders

-1 hour and 15 minute group lesson with our riding instructor

This is your chance get outside, enjoy the fall colors and interact with cats, goats and of course donkeys! Take a short walk with a guide and a donkey outfitted with a pack saddle to an assorted pumpkin patch (really a large yard display). Choose your favorite pumpkin and we will load it in the donkey’s pack to carry back for you. There will be a photo opportunity, interactions with and a chance to give your sturdy companion a treat!

Reservations are necessary. Just use the Book Now button and select Pumpkin Picking with Donkeys when prompted, and in the message box add your preferred time and the number of people coming. Times are on the hour from 2pm-5pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday from September 21st to October 19th.
